We're talking a mighty hot little silver sports car here. Both its doors open upward and forward toward the roof and windshield. Turn the steering wheel, and the car's front wheels turn smartly. And such a value! The only drawback is that you can't actually drive it because, at 7 inches long, it's just a 1:26 scale miniature. But its die-cast metal body is nicely detailed, with two side-view mirrors, plus plastic parts including tires proclaiming "Bridgestone." This member of Maisto's Special Edition series is sure to delight hot-rodders of all ages. Although it's safe down to age 3, a preschooler would likely break off the delicate, distinctive Merc hood ornament in no time flat. And we wouldn't want that, now, would we? --Rebecca Hughes
