This is a 1/43 scale replica of the Ferrari Tipo 500 Ascari drove in 1952 and won him the race at the Belgium Grand Prix on June 22! The Ferrari 500 F2 was a Formula 2 car. Ferrari was the only team to have a car specifically designed for the new formula. Ascari?s Ferrari 500 F2 dominated 1952, winning all the six races in which he took part and recording five pole positions. He nearly scored the maximum amount of points a driver could earn. In the 1952 Belgian GP, Ascari gained 1st place together with the pole position and the fastest lap.
